Pines Speedway Photographic Poster

Pines Speedway was a 1/4 mile asphalt track located in Groveland, Massachusetts. It was carved out of a sand pit along the Merrimac River, right near the center of town. Pines hosted midget racing during the open wheel heyday and subsequently featured jalopies in the early fifties. As time went by, rules were relaxed, and the popular bull ring arguably became the birth place of the New England area supermodifieds.
The limited edition poster celebrates the fabulous super racing of the early sixties. Given its large format, the Pines Poster is perfect for framing and it will clearly become a collectors’ item.

Photographs include 19 Northeast Super-modified Drivers, 3 Hall of Fame drivers: Parky Parkhurst, Dick Edgerly, Howie Brown, Don Monaghan, Ron Herbert, Buzzy Bezanson, Mike Murphy, Bill Murphy, Carl Toberio, Lee Allard, Bob Cloutier, Frank Conway, Jim Martel, Ed Skofield, Eddie West, Don Maclaren, Jim Landry, Ollie Silva, Bentley Warren.

Purchase one of the 100 available copies. Only 300 copies were ever printed. This poster will never be reproduced again.

Printed on heavy photographic paper, suitable for framing, 16”x 20.”
